I’m Jim McDannald, DPM, and I help podiatrists grow their clinics.

You’re busy treating patients, managing staff, and running your practice. The last thing you need is to become a marketing expert on top of everything else.

That’s where I come in. I’m a podiatrist who transitioned to digital marketing, and I only work with podiatry clinics. That means I understand your world in a way generic marketing agencies never will.

When you work with Podiatry Growth, you work with me.

Not an account manager. Not a sales team. Not a junior
associate who’s never set foot in a clinic. Me.

I’ve been in the exam room. I’ve managed staff. I know what
it’s like to finish a full day of patients and still have paperwork
waiting. When I look at your website or Google presence, I see it
through the eyes of someone who’s lived your reality.

How I Think About Marketing

Marketing should feel like an extension of your practice, not a separate obligation. The same care and professionalism you bring to patient care should show up in how you present yourself online.

Cookie-cutter doesn’t work. Generic stock photos and templated websites don’t build trust. Your online presence should reflect YOUR clinic, YOUR team, and YOUR approach to care.

Results matter more than metrics. I don’t care about impressions or followers. I care about whether your phone is ringing with the kinds of patients you want to treat.

You shouldn’t need to become a marketing expert. My goal is to build systems that work for you—so you can focus on what you do best: providing excellent patient care.

How I Got Here

I graduated from podiatry school, completed my residency, and went into private practice. And I was good at it. But something wasn’t quite right.

In 2011, I made a difficult decision: I left clinical practice to pursue writing and web design. It wasn’t easy, but I knew I needed a different path.

I have a rare combination: podiatry training, clinical experience, and years of hands-on digital marketing expertise. That’s what I bring to every clinic I work with.

What Podiatrists Say

“Within a couple of months of Jim’s planning and implementing a strategy to improve our website and online presence, 50% or more of our patients tell me they found us via Google or Google Reviews.”

Timothy Gateley, DPM
Gateley Podiatry • Topeka, KS

“Different medical fields have different strategies that work to make money or to attract patients. Jim knows the different aspects of the practice and understands what works for podiatrists.”

Aaron Seiter, DPM
Seiter Foot & Ankle • Conway, AR

“With the agency I used before, I could never understand what they were doing and why. Jim is different – rather than throwing money to see what worked, he understands how patients are searching for us online.”

Andrew Marso, DPM
Wisconsin Foot Center • Hales Corners, WI

“Jim’s the only marketing person I’d let anywhere near my platform because he’s one of us—he gets what we deal with every day. When a fellow podiatrist who actually understands our world offers to help with marketing, that’s someone you can trust.”

Beyond the Work

When I’m not helping podiatrists grow their clinics, you’ll find me running, biking, or attending/coaching one of my kids’ activities.

I’m based in Montreal, though I work with podiatry clinics across the continent (both the US and Canada). The beauty of digital marketing is that geography doesn’t limit who I can help.

I also co-host the Podiatry Marketing podcast, where we talk strategy and share what’s working to help clinics attract more patients.
