Google Reviews Disabled for Podiatry Clinics During COVID-19
If you’ve wondered why your podiatry clinic hasn’t received new Google reviews since the start of COVID-19, there’s a reason.
Back in March, Google disabled the local reviews functionality — both for patients and clinic owners. They hit pause on all review creation or responding. Patients can still create reviews, but none have published since March 20th.
Google recently started restoring this functionality for dentists and other business owners, but podiatrists are in the group of medical providers still waiting for this to return.
These changes to Google Reviews are temporary, but no definite date has been set for when publishing new reviews will return.
